As we move into autumn, we bid goodbye to the first temporary residents of dreams. We haven’t mentioned them much, but their handprints are everywhere here. If it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t have been able to get furniture out through the window, wouldn’t have been able to get the washing machine running, building materials in, the bar removed, and best of all, hinoki wood flooring in our living room. As I’ve said and will reiterate again, we are incredibly lucky. They didn't ask for the credit but deserve so much more.
There are a few more coming in for this trip. And more scheduled for winter as we spill into the beginning of 2024. We take a look at what we’ve done so far and how much further we can take it. The temperature is dropping. The air smells different. The promise of more adventures, and this ever changing home.
