Dear reader,

Were you hoping for any kind of pictures from the market? While I was unofficially in charge of documenting as and when, I couldn’t due to running after toddlers who had way too much energy. Because imagine this, you’re a 3-year old. Suddenly, you come to a place where the homeowners allow you to jump on the bed, run across the living room, have endless snacks and air-conditioning in this sweltering heat. Every hour, a new friend from school shows up and this time, there were no adults to tell you about things you can’t do. You’ll 100% take advantage of the situation. All of this to say, it was mayhem.

So here’s some bits that I did manage to capture. I will however, also attach Stacy’s pictures of the merchandise here because she has a knack of utilising what we have and using that to make the products look amazing. Plus, I don’t want her work and one of many talents to go to waste.

On a separate note, if you were interested in finding out how it went. Well, we were definitely very ambitious. Within the first hour on the first day, the temperature sucked too much brain juice, everyone took cover in the main house. That also meant that that after reconvening for day 2, we shifted everything into the living quarters. The high strung, OCD part of my brain was in full standby mode for 3 days that it took about a week to recover. Before I knew it, it was time to switch gears as we begin to plan for closing another chapter.

Although, if you must know, the deranged part of our brains that thrive on chaos, aren’t opposed to the fact that we might want to do this again. Just definitely more scaled back depending on manpower and headspace.

Looking back at what we accomplished this time, life certainly intervened more often than expected. As much as we always rolled with the punches, the exhaustion did catch up. We spent more weeks chasing the clock than before. I wonder if it’s the season too. How heat alters your energy level. Anyway, before I ramble further, I need to know when to stop before everything gets too melancholic.

My autumn girlie senses are tingling. See you again in October.
